All of our trucks are self-loaders that means, “Damage free towing”. In other words, the only part of the vehicle that gets touched is the rubber tire.
All vehicles are digitally photographed before towing. The pictures are taken from different angles showing the violation. The date and time is automatically imprinted on the photo. All pictures are saved on a database for future reference.
The pictures are printed in the truck and a tow ticket filled out which is then dropped into the manager’s night slot.
All tows are immediately called into the police towline and a reference number is obtained and noted on the tow ticket. We report make, model, year, color and vin ( If calling the police the resident is immediately told where their vehicle is at. ) of the time and storage location.
Our phones are answered 24 hours a day / seven days a week for the convenience of the resident and manager. We contract with many storage facilities most of which are conveniently located near the apartment or commercial business for easy access.
Our storage facility accepts credit cards and cash as forms of payment. A printed receipt is given to the person retrieving the car.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation rules allow the person towed to contest the removal at what's commonly known as a “tow hearing” within 14 days of the tow. Most of these are held at the criminal courts building at . When subpoenaed we attend all tow hearings and on occasions may need additional information to prepare for the court proceeding.
